The idea of "to be of one blood" is rather complex and can produce fruitful results in man-dog communication and mutual understanding. It does not mean tto sleep in your dog's kennel, or to sleep with your dog in bed. However, the later is a very popular variant. As an example of improper behaviour of a master as well as of a dog - see below - my malinois has a rest after a long working day.
Tha art of communicating with your dog, respecting his/her personality and developing talents through training.

Shall we remember Kipling while training our dogs?
If we decide to have a dog we, as responsible masters,
are quite aware that it is necessary to educate them, socialize them, train
them. There are a lot of methods, instructions and ways for making our dogs
well bred.
The starting point of all these practices is that we -
as living creatures - are much more clever than dogs, and thus in a position
that we can teach our dogs. This idea is going from the Christian concept that
a human being is the centre of the world.
This philosophy developed deep roots in our mentality.
However, is it the only variant of creating
relationships with our dogs. Is this variant undisputable and effective?

Is it easier when you have two dogs?
To have a dog means to spend a lot of time, a lot of money and to take a considerable responsibility. But what about having two dogs? Two male dogs, and more than that - two Alphas? It might seem strange but it's much easier with the two of them. Of course, they are friends. But being friends between two strong males means a tiny balance, in a moment they can become rivals. It is rather dangerous as can lead to a fight. There is a much better variant - to make a team with an inner hierarchy.
It take time to set these kind of relationships, however it gives valuable results!

A story from my Facebook site
About dog's love:
dogs come to this life already knowing how to love.
This came from a friend so I don't know
this family but couldn't help sharing such a beautiful story. ♥
... Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa , and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.
I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.
As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.
The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker 's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.
The little boy seemed to accept Belker's transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker's Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that animal lives are shorter than human lives.
Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, ''I know why.''
Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live.
He said: ''People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?'' The Six-year-old continued,
''Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long.''

EMAIL ADDRESS: dispatches@channel4.co.uk
To kill an innocent dog - just because of the exterior - it's a disgrace. The one who took the decision can't be treated as a civilized person. However, those who knew about the approaching tragedy and did nothing also made their contribution into this disraceful act.

Let's save a dog who can be executed just for his exterior
One last push of urgent e-mails needed for a Lennox miracle
Are we in Middle Ages again?
Again, in exclusive information was given by sources close to the case of Lennox, late Friday, a staunch supporter of the campaign to free him presented herself to Buckingham Palace, to deliver a plea for a Royal Prerogative of Mercy for this precious boy. Now, e-mails are needed in support of that plea, and they need to be sent immediately.
The only people besides the Queen who have any authority to help Lennox at this point are the Northern Ireland Attorney General, John Larkin, and the Minister of Agriculture, Michelle O'Neil. The e-mail addresses for them are as follows:
Minister of Agriculture, Michelle O'Neil: private.office@dardni.gov.uk
Attorney General, John Larkin: contact@attorneygeneralni.gov.uk

It is official - the day that thousands of dog lovers from across the world hoped that they would never see - the day that judges in Northern Ireland have upheld the ruling to destroy the dog named "Lennox".
BBC News released the disheartening information on Tuesday.
The country's most senior judges have upheld the lower court's ruling to kill Lennox, dismissing Lennox's owner's desperate appeals to save her beloved pet.
Lennox has never attacked anyone. Lennox has never threatened to attack anyone. Lennox has never been anything more than a treasured companion to his adoring family.
But thanks to the way that he looks, he will lose his life. Lennox looks like a pit bull - a "dangerous breed" according to officials in Northern Ireland.
For five years, Lennox was able to enjoy a wonderful life with his family.
His owner, Caroline Barnes, was a responsible owner. While in the Barnes family's care, Lennox was neutered, kept up to date on his shots, licensed and microchipped.
But in Northern Ireland, how Lennox looks has trumped the responsibility of his family and his own good behavior.
Lennox was ripped from the home of those he knew and loved back in May, 2010. Since that time, he has been incarcerated as court battles raged to save, or end, his life.
His time of emotional suffering will soon draw to a close.
What I think about it?
To kill a dog only for what he/she looks like - it is the same as to kill a human being only because he looks different. It's inhuman and disgracing. More than that - it opens a very dangerous way: there are a lot of breeds that can be qualified as dangerous for this or that reason, All dogs of such breeds should be killed? Our pets like children for us, only four-legged. I invite judges think about it and about masters of Lennox and of other potential victims of such 'a highly civilized' approach, try to imagine themselves as a master of a pet who should be killed only because of his exterior.
And what is your opinion?
I 'm happy to start this blog, which I'd like to devote to particles of nature that live with us: our dogs. I try not to listen to radio and TV news, they are so devastating, and prefer to give my energy to our pets. I will put in the blog short stories about dogs, share my knowledges in their training, and taking care of. The blog is open for your comments and views. Hope it will be ineresting for you.
Training with joy
A lot of those who decide to take a puppy are full of energy to train him, however soon they find it dull and time-consuming, and drop the training. Even more dog owners do not start and training. Why? Let's convert "trainig of dog" in "training with dog". You and your dog will enjoy it, I asure you!
The key formular - mutual understanding between you and your dog and his or her obedience. It's not so difficult to develop it through the non-conflict method. Its key idea is close to the well known force-free training, developed by Karen Pryor Academy, however it has its peculiarities and applied in wider range of dog trainings.
I'm sure that punishment in training is imperfect and cause negative by-consequences. Non-conflict approach, basing on joy and positive stimulus, is much more effective and encouraging.
More information about non-conflict training can be found on http://trainingofdogs.ru
